Summary
In the first segment, Patricia Gras discusses discipline in high schools. Feature on Principal Mary Ellen Thornton at Patrick Henry Middle School and the disciplinary contracts implemented there. School had sixty-six criminal referrals last year. Guests are head of Houston Independent School District (HISD) Police Les Burton and  Max Torres, minister at El Tabernaculo Church who provide their perspectives on discipline in schools. Emphasis on parental involvement. Second segment, developments in treating bone cancers. Guests are cancer survivor Anna R. Benson and Dr. Eugenie S. Kleinerman, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.
