Includes report on new Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Improvement Act and whether it will impact local banks. Second segment includes interview with, and report on, Senator Lloyd Bentsen who has been nominated as Treasury Secretary by incoming president, Bill Clinton. Final segment focuses on city council seat vacated by Dale Gorczyski, and debate over whether it should go to a caretaker, or if that violates the agreement struck in response to a lawsuit filed by the Hispanic community against the City of Houston over representation.
