The first segment, entitled "News Notes," is a review of news for the week with J. D. Houston and Betty Ann Bowser. Second segment is an interview with Harris County Sheriff Johnny Klevenhagen about problems with overcrowding in Texas prisons. Third segment is an interview with City Councilmember Vince Ryan, and Montrose resident, Keith Hampton about proposed housing project for AIDS patients in the Montrose neighborhood. Fourth segment is an interview with Ted Eubanks about whether having an airport west of Katy would impact migratory birds. Fifth segment is a follow-up interview on the Westside Airport proposal with Bruce Cameron. Sixth segment looks at the closure of residential daycare centers in Oak Forest. Bowser interviews Joy Caka, who owned a daycare facility, John Pellicciotti, member of the Oak Forest Civic Club, Kathleen Rowland of Initiatives for Children Inc., and Councilmember Eleanor Tinsley. Seventh segment is an interview with student Robert Rogers, and Linda Kleeman of the Houston Chronicle about the Citizen Bee.
