Summary
Sue Davis reports on human rights from Vienna as the UN meets to debate at the World Conference on Human Rights. First segment focuses primarily on the conference itself, addressing high number of NGO's present, China vetoing the appearance of the Dalai Lama, attention focused on women's human rights and the lack of UN funding for the protection of human rights. Second segment addresses Rothko Chapel's Oscar Romero Award Winner for the year, Oslobođenje, a daily newspaper out of Sarajevo. Davis interviews Oslobođenje deputy editor, Gordana Knezević about the paper and about conditions in Bosnia. Davis also speaks with Dominique de Menil about Oslobođenje and about human rights.
